Let's Work Together! Phase Five invites work/collaboration/projects in any field related to our themes. Additionally, in order to continue our work as Phase Five, we currently require to augment our personal income by doing part-time, freelance work. We therefore invite work for ourselves and our associates according to our particular personal work profiles which are given at the end of this document.

Structure: Phase Five operates as a business engaged in activities of social and environmental significance. Consequently, we fall outside the paradigm where business and social concern are separate departments or organizations. This often means that we have no recourse to subsidies available to voluntary organizations including tax-rebates and other concessions. We are also not supported by any funding organization. However, we have received sponsorhips for some of our participants' course fees. We charge for our programs and cross-subsidize different sectors.

Field: At present Phase Five is engaged in the areas of: 1. Training and building awareness 2. Assisting with the development of systems for improving possibilities of ownership and belonging. While both these can be called "services" we also hope to offer "products" which contribute to ecological and holistic lifestyles.

1. TRAINING PROGRAMMES

Benefits: Our programmes help individuals to think and act outside the box of established paradigms in modern life. They also challenge cynicism and helplessness by reconnecting with the energy of ownership-belonging. This provokes the individual to dare to be who they are with its adventure and responsibility instead of being clones and blaming the "system". As byproducts, a person can find fresh and personal reasons to want and develop skills and practices of community, democratic culture, sensitivity to the environment, cultural diversity, independent-thinking, entrepreneurship, ecopreneurship and to move from academics to real life.

Who can participate? Theoretically, anyone. However, we particularly focus on the age group of 18 to about 40 and usually customize each programme even if it is a day workshop.

2. RESEARCH & COLLABORATION

Field: We are interested in the entire range of issues that constitute modern life and have been contracted for research, surveys and creative work in the areas of social, health and civic services. Work which enables greater involvement, interaction, responsiveness and empowerment of the individual in public systems is of particular interest and significance to the team.

3. PRODUCTS

Distributorship: We welcome the opportunity to serve as distributors for any product that would provide steps towards ecologically sound, holistic lifestyles and alternatives to destructive development.
